to dress authentic delicious umbrian dishes having fun preparing and tasting them.
Our family cooks (Emanuele’s girl-friend and mother) will guide you through the preparation of simple genuine recipes and reveal some of their culinary secrets from the appetizers to the fabulous
typical Umbrian cakes.
Every day at the end of the lessons you will have the pleasure to dine with the wonderful Italian dishes you prepared

Montefalco is a famous oenological land which produces special wines such as Trebbiano Spoletino, Grechetto Colli Martani, Rosso Montefalco and the unique Sagrantino (the names of rooms at “Borghetto” come from them)
The “Sagrantino of Montefalco” DOCG (the highest identified quality), one of the best Italian wines , today is produced only in Montefalco’s area in two versions: ‘dry’ and ‘passito’, the latter meaning “made from raisins”. For both of them, an ageing process of at least 36 months is required. The final product is ruby-red/grany, tasting hot and spiced.

3rd day:
Breakfast at the Agriturism
Morning: Visit to Assisi and Spello
Afternoon: Lessons of typical Umbrian cuisine
Dinner with the food you have prepared and overnight visit to Montefalco

4th day:
Breakfast at the Agriturism
Morning:.Visit to Castelluccio di Norcia, information about Lenticchie and lessons about the methods of cheese-making.
Afternoon: Lessons of typical Umbrian cuisine.
Dinner with the food you have prepared and overnight stay at the Agriturism

5th day:
Farewell breakfast at the Agriturism
Transfer to the Airport in Rome
